UPDATE: With COVID still greatly impacting all of us, winter arriving, and the holidays fast approaching, we wanted to share with you what we are doing to ensure your safety at our offices.

Most importantly – WE ARE OPEN!

We’re here to help your body function at it’s best. Regular chiropractic adjustments strengthen your immune system to help you stay healthy and fight off illness!

  • We are consistently wiping down all surfaces, equipment and tables between patients. We are also increasing the frequency of our deep cleans performed by our staff.
  • If anyone calls in with saying they are not feeling well or they have symptoms we will make special accommodations.
  • We are limiting the number of people in our office at any time by expanding our hours and further spacing out appointment times. Including expanded weekend hours at our Des Moines office.
  • We have streamlined our check in process to avoid wait time in our reception area.
  • Our staff has their temperature checked at the beginning of each shift and throughout the day.
  • All staff members wear masks or face shields in the office.
  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout the office including at any patient touch point. Our staff and doctors are sanitizing their hands regularly between patients.

Our #1 goal is to take great care of you and your family and to make sure you feel safe visiting our office. We will continue to provide updates as the situation evolves. If you have ANY questions or special request please contact us and we will do what we can help you during this difficult time.

We all need to do our part to beat this virus and there’s no better way than using chiropractic to boost your immune system.

NOW is the time to ensure your body has the ability to adapt to any virus and exposure out there.

Thank you so much for your continued trust in us.

UPDATE (06/22/2020):

As a part of our Iowa Family Chiropractic family, we want to keep you safe! Check out some of our recent changes that we have put in place to ensure we are helping to slow the spread while allowing you to continue getting the great care you deserve.

Essential Healthcare Service Statement

COVID Chiropractic AdjustmentAs we continue to respond to the ever-changing environment around COVID-19, the safety of our patients, staff and doctors is our highest priority. We understand that new information surrounding the changing landscape of our everyday routines has many feeling concerned.

As we navigate this situation, Iowa Family Chiropractic is relying on guidance from national and local chiropractic associations and healthcare organizations to direct our actions. Many, including the International Chiropractors Association, view chiropractic care as an essential healthcare service that can be used by patients with a wide array of health conditions.

As a result, when and where possible, The Joint Chiropractic clinics are open, and we remain committed to providing convenient and affordable chiropractic care in our local communities. We know that many will continue to have healthcare needs that can be helped through chiropractic care, and we feel a responsibility and commitment to our patients.

We are closely monitoring recommendations and protocols established by the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as state and local health departments. We pledge to communicate if our position needs to be modified as the COVID-19 circumstances develop.

Policy

As a precautionary measure, we have increased hygiene and clinic cleaning routines, revised seating or adjusting tables to create space between patients, required mask use for clinic staff and implemented monitoring and operations protocols and are following clinic procedures outlined by healthcare organizations and leading authorities within the chiropractic profession.

Patient Support

Thank you on behalf of everyone at Iowa Family Chiropractic for your loyalty, support and patience through these unprecedented times. There is nothing more important to us than meeting the needs of our patients and we stay committed to doing just that.
