Here at IFC, we focus on the nervous system first. Adjustments take your nerves closer to functioning at 100%, creating optimal performance of the brain, organs, muscles and joints. However, we also tend to supplement the adjustment with some form of muscle work – stretches, exercises, or passive therapies.
Our go-to for large muscle groups is foam rolling – this is ideal for legs, glutes and large back muscles. For smaller muscle groups, or more pointed massage (like trigger-point therapy), a lacrosse ball is a great option. Watch the video to see how to use a lacrosse ball to relieve trigger points and tight muscles.
